Your comfort zone is preventing you from living the life you want.
Naturally all human beings seek to be in comfort with places, people, things and experiences that we live on a daily basis.
However, when it comes to achieving better results, usually being in the comfort zone is negative.
Virtually all successful people have had to do something that makes them a little uncomfortable, in order to achieve the results that have been proposed.
Acquire new skills, learn new strategies and know different ways of doing things ...
they are just a few things outside of our comfort zone.
Our human nature, conditions us to try at all times, to avoid threats that may threaten our existence.
And for this reason, we always seek to get closer to pleasure, and away from displeasure.
Fear is the main factor that affects us when we want to expand, or leave our comfort zone, for genetics, we are afraid of the unknown.
This does not mean that staying within our comfort zone is wrong.
However, if you ever want to exceed your expectations and get to improve in an amazing way, without a doubt, you will have to expand your comfort zone, for which you will have to leave it and adapt to new experiences.
The comfort zone is the set of limits that prevent us from moving forward.
When we overcome these limits, we expand our perspective, and we reach new horizons.
This applies differently for each specific person, but below you will find some general advice, which will allow you to leave your comfort zone successfully and thus, exceed your own expectations.
The Comfort Zone is a Mental State
Those elements that surround you and that you consider part of your comfort, are perceived that way, thanks to your psychology and your mind.
What you find comfortable, others may terrify you.
Sometimes, staying in a comfortable mental state, can become routine, boring and without mentioning, which significantly prevents us from making any progress.
Losing the fear of leaving our comfort zone, starts from within.
From our thoughts, ideas and feelings.
Understand that everything we perceive is nothing more than an interpretation that gives us our brain of the universe, allows us to see things differently.
And perhaps, after all, that fear that we have to take and take action in our lives, is no more than a product of our imagination.
You put the limits
You must fully trust yourself, and know that everything that limits you physically and emotionally, does so because you have decided (unconsciously) that it should be so.
You are the one who defines your scope.
You are the one who builds the barriers to avoid progress and get away from dangers (mostly imaginary).
In this order of ideas, the ideal when wanting to leave your comfort zone, is to self-evaluate and ponder your most significant thoughts.
Question yourself Are our prejudices a reality?
Or they are just part of what we imagine it could be.
How could others react to a certain change in attitude or omission?
Do you really care if my life changes?
Or sometimes I attribute them much more than they should ...
You will easily discover if your fears are real, or are simply imaginary, and if they are real, your refuge may be in those people who have overcome the obstacles you now face.
Create New Habits, Experience
Leaving your comfort zone will not mean anything other than doing something new.
Experiencing and being curious at all times will help you expand your limits.
Remember that being your limits purely mental, expand them will be a matter of time.
Everything we do in our lives, is a habit, to create vital habits that allow us to leave our comfort zone, it is simple by means of Planned Persistence.
Try every day, do something new.
Try taking different roads, visiting different places, talking to different people or doing tasks in alternative ways.
This will gradually condition you to accept the change and the new.
Over time, you can be very resistant to novelty, and with it, the impact of the success you achieve will be incredible.
Remember that the great beaches are made up of small grains of sand.
Start today to contribute to your life, these little grains of sand that will allow you to develop yourself personally and that will finally take you one step further.
Never give up
If you do something new and adapt certain activities to your life, which are outside your comfort zone, these will be included in that comfort zone.
So apparently, leaving our comfort zone seems an infinite cycle.
It is important then, keep in mind, that only persistence will allow us to expand our comfort zone.
And that success is a path, not a point of arrival.
Withdraw in the middle of the road, means throwing away all previous achievements.
Persevere, however, demonstrates that we are made and improves our lives in a way.
The ultimate goal of leaving our comfort zone at times is simply to improve.
Be a better person and help others to improve the world.
