RE: Will monetary reward destroy genuine interactions in steemit?

I think that in general the pockets of authentic people have been finding each other and supporting each other with genuine love and appreciation for the content being shared and for the creative and entrepreneurial projects being launched. We are human beings, we all know there is a dark side. Wherever there is light, the dark desire to creep in and try to drink from the happiness and success that is nourishing us all. As long as we know this and observe it, we need not be dragged in to a mud-slinging match, because these people might be desperate or unhappy for reasons we don't understand. We just have to keep generating positivity and support for authenticity with the understanding that nothing can ever be ideal. Perhaps every now and then we can convince one of these unfortunate people that they have more to gain from this wonderful community than just money! Until then, we are busy rewarding those who represent what we REALLY want to see in the future of this platform, and so long as that is true, there can only be awesomeness ahead!
