Focus or attention is a very underrated word in today’s world. There are so many distractions which want to take away your focus that it is becoming tougher for everyone to separate important from the noise. The noise is increasing by the day. It can come from media to your peers, its everywhere.
Perhaps internet and cellphones are one of the biggest sources of distraction today. Children don’t want to get bored, they want an occupied mind in things which simple does nt matter.
Attention is how you frame your life, it is how you give a shape to your life. What you focus on, will have power. You will start observing it deeply, you will see it everywhere around you. Let me take a very easy example. – Suppose you want to buy a car of a particular model. Suddenly you will start to see same car everywhere. It will catch your eye even if it is parked in a distant corner. Nothing here changed but your focus.
For success, you have to choose the task you want to do and that has to be done without any distractions.
You have to pay attention to where your attention is. That is being mindful
Your goal planning and your day planning also comes from this alone. You have to keep the important things for your attention leaving everything else. Distractions will always be there. They will take you off your course. But its you though your power of focus who has to cut through all the noise in order to be successful
There are techniques which can help you in improving your focus. Try keeping your phone aside for some time and then do your tasks. You fill feel the difference. Pomodoro technique is one of the good ways to improve on your focus. A lot of people swear by this simple technique.
Another thing which you can use here is Pareto principle, i.e 80/20 rule. You can keep your focus to only the 20 percent things which you think are important. You always put your efforts on to those 20% which give you maximum results. Being mindful will help you in reaching far.
nice post i like it keep it up you will compete one day...do not give up
Great sentence: ''Focus Is Where The Power Is''. Very wise.
