Quality standards are the key to the solution, imho. Rules that punish greediness are necessary as well as actions on behalf of the community.

why limiting registration? we need more members here isnt it?
Yes we need. But if it brings quality decline and the rise of greed, then it is a necessary emergency solution IMHO.
Changing the mind of masses is really really hard.
Good point, however we have limited registration now which will be lifted after the next update and many will join....
Well, yes, and I'm happy and sad at the same time. Normally, I'd go for more members, but after reading some insightful material from major community members, I'm less confident about it.
Only time will tell, I guess.
