Good day everyone,
My name is Malcolm and today I want to share with you the importance of this book, "The Laws of Success" and how it had helped me to reach where I am.
Firstly what exactly is this book about let us just ask ourselves that question.
THE LAWS OF SUCCESS is a 1925 BOOK that is actually in the form of sets of 15 separate booklets by The great Napoleon Hill. Base on my research it was first released as a limited edition of 118 copies where they all was given to many of Americas most successful individuals of all time, all of whom had contributed to the book's content. Also one of those copies was used by the great Orne Publishing to reprint it in 2010 base on my research. Now guys lets go a little further into it The Law of Success in 16 Lessons is an edited version of Napoleon Hill’s first manuscripts which was reworked under advisement of some the contributors and first published in 1928 and remember these men who advised Naoleon Hill to reworked the entire content of the book, are all successful people. This version was initially published as a multi-volume correspondence course. Later editions consolidated the material into a single hardcover book. The most current version available is through Wilder Publishing.

How this book helped me to be where I am today
While coming up I was an only child, I never grew with a father and had to leave my mother's at a tender age just to making a leaving for both of us. It all started a the age of 16 when I got my first drop, it was never much but at least it could helped me survive for a day or two. How I got that job, it was one day I was walking alone on the road to visit a close friend of mines, it was like about 9:00PM in the night and I saw a business man closing is restaurant, and a voice just told me approach the gentle man. I approached the gentle man who's name was Dexroy Lee, I can not forget is name. While we were there he asked me how can he help me and at first I was afraid to ask him for about job because of how I was attired. The man looked at my and like was wondering why he's actually engaging in any activity with a mad man, which it was all because of how dirty and filthy I was. I eventually explained my self and the condition I was in, and I REMEMBERED he told me that where was only one position that would match my criteria because didn't have an education. He asked me if I would work as a janitor, I proudly said yes! the man was so shocked because no one wanted to fill that position. He then gave me the job and told me that it was only for 2 weeks, I gladly took it and started the following day.
During the time I was working as a janitor it was never easy for, I was working 7 days a week, 9 hours per day and still weren't getting paid for it in fact I was getting way below minimum wage. GUEST what I had to take because I was underage at that time and no one should be employing a miner, it was called child-labor and an adult could be facing years behind bars if caught. It was my last week working and I was wondering am I going to do, until I heard a voicing saying that I should no worry my self because I am going keep the job. The last nite of my termination the said to me "hey son we liked the work that you are did and how you took passion in it. We are going to keep you". I was so shocked I stood there in a freeze position for about 2 minutes until I came to my self.
Working as a janitor and have to be cleaning up after people isn't the best job how there but I told my self that someone has to do it, and that motivated me to go even harder whenever I felt discouraged. I still wasn't getting the right amount of cash for my pay as I think I should be getting, until one day I saw a man reading a book while I was cleaning the floor. I went over and asked the gentle what was the name of the book because it seems like it was an interesting book base on the man facial expression while reading it. He told me that it was a book for people who wanted to be a place where you gain respect from all kind person in society, which was quite enticing to me base on my situation. He then told me the name and offered me to keep it because I am more in need of it, at first I took the comment as a disrespect because of the work I was doing. I finally got a chance to looking in the book, while do so I saw one of the pages bent and folded so I unfold the page and this is what I saw " Render more service than that for which you are paid and you will soon be paid for more than you render. The law of Increasing Returns takes care of this." It took me 1 day to figure out the entire phrase and what it is saying and trust me after that day started working my ass off without complaining about how much I was getting.
It was about a year now I was working as a janitor at the same restaurant, putting in the hard work, being loyal and never complained about my salary. Until one day a member of staff that was working in the HR department (the restaurant had grew over the pass months I was there.) saw how I was doing my job and minding my own business. She asked me if I believed in growth I said yes but, she replied by saying "no buts I see potential in you and I am going give you a chance elevate your self and move up the ladder, by giving you a position to work as a Customer Service associate". After that day I never looked back I started reading the book more often until within 6 months time I was promoted to a Supervisor. which I was able to earn enough money and send my self back to school and even university.
This book "THE LAWS OF SUCCESS" has helped me to reach where I am today, doing my final year in University as a Psychologist. I will recommend every one to ready this book, it will teach you a lot and you will shock to see how far it is going to take you.
