Instead it enters the blood stream too quickly and disturbs the level of the sugar in the blood which must remain constant for good health. Just one teaspoonful too much can cause havoc and so the body calls on the pancreas to deal with the emergency. The pancreas secretes excess insulin which eliminates more sugar than is necessary. Results? The sugar in the blood falls too low. The victim feels discomfort, depression and has a craving for something sweet. And so he consumes more sugar and up goes the sugar level, and the vicious circle continues. In other words, the more sugar you eat, the more you want.
