Well, did you? I suggest researching detoxification methods to cleanse your Earth Vehicle of this incredibly addictive substance. The sugar Dr Hyman speaks of here is Refined sugar only, a few examples would be; Candy bars, more or less all beverages found at your local supermarket, including those that are supposedly healthy for us, an example being pure orange juice, basically all things advertised at the younger generation, in order to get them addicted to their products for profits, The food industry spends 1.8 Billion yearly advertising their products at todays youth. When sugar is consumed with no fibre, if your glucose levels are at a sufficient level, your body will store this sugar as fat. However, natural sugars that are found in fruits, have a significantly different effect on our bodies because, when sugar is combined with the fibres of whatever fruit is being consumed, it doesn't have the same effect on our bodies, not to mention all of the vitamins fruit is packed with! That are extremely beneficial for us. Also allowing our Earth vehicles to run at optimal levels, you wouldn't put diesel in a petrol car would you? P.S. Yes, refined sugar is bad. I'm still not quite clear why the sugar from fruit is much less detrimental (I'm wondering what are the exact molecular mechanisms)

Fruit sugar is far less detrimental as when consumed with fibre it has to be broken down and is then used as glycogen and glucose, where as refined sugar in fizzy drinks etc send the pancreas into immediate shock as well as make your focus levels much lower with the effects it has on your pre frontal cortex in the brain.
