I am a child of God, I am born again, I am a Christian. We all say this and can all relate to this. No matter the church you attend, as long as you are born again, you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. You are an Heir to His Kingdom.
Now we have established that fact, what next?
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
We are all members of one Body, that is, the Body of Christ. Segregation should not come in, discrimination and self-righteousness should not come in. Church differences ought not to come in. We are all part of ONE body, just one.
We are not just members of that Body...
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith
We have different roles to play. It is just like your body. Filled with so many parts, the eyes, ears, legs, arms and others. Each of them has a function and they play them. The nose does not go about seeing, the ears do not start picking things up and the legs sure do not smell.
Just as it is in our own bodies, so it is in the Body of Christ. We are all blessed with different gifts that enables us to perform different functions.
Some have the gift of Prophecy, others the gift of Teaching and for some, it is that of Healing.
Identify your Gift
Firstly, you have to identify your own Gift. This is what encourages being able to work together as one Body. It is when you do not know your calling, you start trying to interfere in others that are trying to do theirs.
To identify your gift, you pray to God, ask for Divine Guidance, then try to identify that thing you really love doing that would help a Soul.
Identifying your gift is very important because if you do not, you cannot make an impact. For example, if your gift is teaching, no matter how you sing, it cannot move the Presence of God as much as when you teach the Word.
Work with your Gift
Now you know your Gift, focus on it and try to improve on it as much as possible. Do not go trying to exert your skills on another area. Stay in line with where your gift takes you, use it for God and most importantly, do it with humility. Just because you are so great at singing, does not mean you should look down on others. The hands might feel so important, but then without the eyes to show it how to, and what it should handle, its efficiency is somewhat limited.
Same goes for the Body of Christ. Each member is important in their own way and no one should impose on the other. This is the only way we can work together to move the Body of Christ forward.
Thanks for reading and have a lovely Sunday
I hear you mamma...💗💗

Yes indeed we are all many but indeed we are one body in Christ
Yes we are
Thanks for this words. Everyone of us must identify our role in the body
Exactly... Thanks for stopping by
This is a wonderful post @fejiro. You should come to the curation night on Tuesday in the flaminghelpers server. Thank you for writing! My first gift is evangelism, and secondly teaching, but here on steemit, I am teaching!
Thanks ma'am, I do come in once in a while when my network allows it. But I will definitely keep a date this Tuesday.
