My city is surrounded by farmland, and minor hills, and mini lakes, but the East side can showcase sunsets just as beautifully as the West side and fancy locations.
Here we have some gorgeous skies over the fields. These were taken last fall, but still gorgeous nonetheless!
One of my favourite parts of sunsets is the tranquility. I like to drive just far enough I can no longer hear the city sounds.
I prefer to fall asleep to nature. I prefer to be part of nature whenever I can, however if it's cold I will not endure it long.
Living in Northern Alberta, the winters get quite dreary as you go to work in the dark and you come home in the dark. Sometimes we only get 6 hours of daylight each day. But the times I do catch a sunset, I live in it. I breathe it in, remember I need a photo, and then continue to breathe in its beauty. It's one that you don't always get, and it's always different.
I do believe my favourite is when it goes from orange to purple in a super dramatic way!
