Waking up in a hotel in a random city is always fun, but I have done moab many times & that same hotel many times. Breakfast & off to adventure is how the day went. The drive to Arches National Park (arches~ where there are like 1000000 arches in one set area of land. God was like lets bless the people of utah with these beautiful creations!) took about 25 mins due to the line to actually get in.
Taylor Swift accompanied us the whole ride as the windows were rolled down & we yelled the lyrics of teenage tay out to the world.
Apparently sunscreen (sunscreen~ the devil, actually a good thing but i hate it, sticky, makes you look white like printer paper, & usually smells terrible!) is a good thing, so my mom lathered us up & then we finally got to start the hike! (hiking~ is one of my favorite things, i love looking at the mountains & creations that we have been so blessed in this world to have, it makes me feel alive, also exercise factor!! great workout while you can enjoy your time & have fun!) The wind was KILLER!!! blowing at high speeds & literally almost blowing Sophia & I over multiple times.
We finally made it to the arch after Sophia going through multiple times of her hat falling off & almost loosing it down the 300 ft. cliffs. Totally worth the hike & Arches National Park, Delicate Arch is now one of my top recommended hikes to any one that asks!
I will say that the Delicate was not delicate AT ALL!! but being held up by rocks that are thousands & thousands of years old does make the creation amazing & delicate.
(more pics for your pleasure & viewing! vvv)
we figured out how the legit depth effect works and are ADDICTED!
Sophia looking cool like ice
with my coolest dad. Literally he doesn't give 2 rips about what anyone thinks of him and is rocking the braces this year!
the wind was not friends with my hair!
