Heya guys,

So the Supercross hype is picking up pace now and nobody on this planet will be feeling it more than a certain number 21... Current Monster Energy Supercross Champion Jason Anderson.

He is not racing for his country in the up coming MXoN so he is free to spend all his time focusing on Supercross and making sure he has the best chances to retain his title.

Do you think he can do it? I'm not so sure... Tomac is in the form of his life and Musquin is also riding with fire... Both had injuries early on in the season which could have given Anderson the gap he needed to complete the deal... haha it's all to ride for guys! Let's check out what form 21 is in :)

If you recall, I was the one that pointed out Jason as a potential winner of the title last year.

He did certainly catch some breaks. When he was head to head with Tomac, he just couldn't keep up and Musquin seems to ride a bit faster.

He's certainly took notes from Dungey on consistency which will keep him close but he's going to have to up his game in my opinion.

I do indeed @mikeonfire and it was a good call, Anderson did catch a few breaks but you can also argue that a true champion is not always the fastest but the most consistent. Dungey was the epitome of this and i think people sometimes dismissed his speed and starting abilities and just put it down to that. Anderson is fast, very fast but i think learning to tone it down just a bit and ride within limits is the key. That is usually why Musquin does so well. Can't wait to see how the season goes down :)

I am pretty sure that Anderson can do it again!!
