It was a two sided story of success and disaster for Monster Energy Kawasaki rider and 450 rookie Adam Cianciarulo in the first of the Triple Crown events at round 4 of the Monster Energy Supercross series last weekend in Glendale. He has been riding amazing all season so far after he defied the odds and picked up the overall win at the Monster Energy Cup on his first ever 450 ride! He has been keeping his Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate honest and when you consider that Tomac is one of the favourites for the title that is pretty epic.

Unfortunately a mistake in the final main event saw him crash out of the race and many though it was a bad one and i must admit it did look nasty. Lucky though the likeable team green rider took to social media to let fans know his was ok.

"Great night of racing until the last few laps! Had a weird kick in the whoops and the rest was history. I got checked out and it's nothing serious, so I'm pumped on that. Really sore to say the least though. I appreciate everyone reaching out! Good times ahead."

As always though you can expect the team to be hiding something and that again was the case here as he again updated fans ahead of round 5 this weekend.

"I've been dealing with a bone bruise on my tailbone from Glendale. Not ideal, obviously, but I did some riding today and I'm stoked to say we'll be lining up ready to go in Oakland this weekend! See you there."

That being said though he has confirmed he will be lining up at the gate which goes to show the dedication and tough spirit you need to compete at this level.
