Hi Hivers,
So this still feels sureal to me that Feld Entertainment have managed to get something planned in as a potential option of when the whole world is in lockdown. Now don't get me wrong, I want Supercross back as much as anyone out there right now but I am still struggling to see how they can make it happen.
Rumours are rife right now about a conference call yesterday between Feld Entertainment and race team managers with May 31st being put forward as the most likely date for the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series to make a return. Readers of my blog will know that the intial date put forward was May 15th but I think the two added weeks are more than needed given the situation.
As started before the remaining seven races could all take place at the Statefarm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona but there are aparantly a few options being put forward as a back up plan.
This means also that the already postponed Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship will have to be pushed back to at least July 5th and will have to run late into the year to fit it all in. Again I am not totally convinced any of this will be made possible. It's not just the riders that have to be ready but the teams, mechanics, track builders, tv crew, officials etc etc... big call.
Do you think they can make it happen guys?

May thirty first is early to launch the programme and few more weeks later it could be the ideal time!
