Hi Steemers!
So the first of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Triple Crown events has come and gone and these nights never dissapoint! There was all the usual crazy chaos at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona although riders seemed to be finding it much harder than usual with a ton dropping out the mains.
Ken Roczen has finally found his mojo this season after his long road back from injury and it's great to see him back up front and at the top of his game again. The premier 450 class is stacked full of tallent as always so to lead this pack of riders is no joke. Even the rookies are 250 champions and race winners!
Speaking of the 250 class, Austin Forkner has also started to turn around his season grabbing the overall yesterday. He has the speed for sure but a series of crashes and mistakes over the last seasons seem to have knocked his confidence. It looks like he has pushed past that now though with a flawless showing in the first two mains and a calm reserved ride in the final when Ferandis was charging. Wisdom is the key, if you don't need to beat the guy in front to win on points... Why risk riding above your safety zone to do so? Great ride Forkner.
So enough chat guys, let's check how the night went down and dip into the stats!
