Okay this is it. You don't need to beg for votes or share links. This is how he decides. The guideline is simple and straight to the point. To be a contender for the daily upvote,

  1. your reputation has to be below 60. Okay, you've met that criteria so let's get along with it and fast.
  2. You must post quality content.
What is quality content? Quality content is one which adds value to a reader. In otherwords, a reader derives value by spending his time to read the post.

Your post must not be plagiarized. @steemcleaners and @cheetah will get it down even before @yoo1900 notices it.
Any pictures used must be properly cited to the sources.
Your post must be atleast 100 words. If it is a meme, it must be followed by a detailed explanationof the words used and how the meme was created.

Keep doing this and even if you are not visited for the first few days, keep being consistently good and original and rejoicing with those rewarded.
Remember, to be successful you have to rejoice with others for their successes.

If you do all these, you will be shown a great deal of support by @yoo1900 and I have three words to explain how you will feel that day:

"Too much joy"

God bless @yoo1900 for us

Thank you for taking the time to explain. Sounds like you have benefited. Why do. You have to give detail eplantions for memes? What is wrong w/ just sharing memes? Most are created by Russia bots right? Lol

We are working towards being a community which creates value, one full of users who give out nothing but quality. Anybody can just upload any meme, even one created by another person and that it why a meme alone is a low quality content. When you write about the meme, you show that you are in to create quality, you show that you are a hardworker. A good post should be one that costs the author atleast some effort to create it. So when you are being supported, it is your effort that is being thumped up. But when you upload a meme that you probably got from google. What will be thumped up? I hope you understand.

I'm working really hard to get noticed and my posts meet all the criteria. I write fiction mostly.
Regardless whether I'm picked or not, I'm grateful such a platform to reward quality content exists

I write fiction too sometimes. You know one secret? Instead of concentrating on being noticed, just concentate on writing good content and impressing yourself first. See how you can contribute to the community. Let the rewards come as secondary incentives. Try this and you will never get enough of the ever-satisfying feeling.

You're so right. MaybeI should have put it this way- I'm hoping my kind of stories meets the right audience that will appreciate them.
When I'm asked, I say I write romance and fantasy, which I do, but I also write African stories that touch on sensitive issues.
Thanks

Exactly! Don't give up my friend. Keep writing! With good people like @yoo1900 and other whales who genuinely care, we will receive enough support to finally sail to the promised land.

thanks - appreciated
