Montreal Habitat 67 standing wave looks absolutely brilliant (had to google it) Go for it! - I have only river surfed a little, but can heartily recommend it! The only problem (if it can be seen as one) is the burning leg muscles from some of the longest waves you can ever surf!

It'll be a while, right now in Montreal it's -9c lol (15f) Next summer I might give it a go, I know a few people who've tried it, there;s a little surf school there lol
