This has to be one of the worst in the series of CBRNE to prepare for. The safety gear required costs big $ for most people. It's gonna be nasty and get real ugly fast when this hits close to home.

True that! First step though should be to at least get the more affordable N95 or N100 masks since they will work to protect against most biological pathogens. Then when budget allows, step up to the full-face gas mask.
