It's true though! Who watches the watchmen? The real solution is taking it upon ourselves individually...
I would love to do investigative journalism-type posts on Hive but there's just not enough hours in the day. Maybe one day! Would be interesting to fine tune a large language model on the blockchain, then run it through a RLHF process to make a Hive chatbot. Then you could just ask it in natural language: "read this post and retrieve all relevant information from the blockchain."
Then you could crosscheck what it comes back with
Too bad GPT3/4 and ChatGPT are greedily gatekept by "OpenAI"...
Open Assistant may be the answer, but that's still work in progress afaik
With more transparency Hive would be a better place, but it happens the same with the world, it's a human thing.
