The government of Sweden reportedly is set to distribute a booklet not issued for over sixty years. With the unsettling title, “If Crisis or War Comes” it reflects government fears of security threats due to the Russia-Crimea situation.
Christina Andersson of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), which is organized under the Ministry of Defence, says that the booklet will instruct people on how they can prepare for a “total defense” of the country.
Reports say the mail-out will go to some 4.6 million households and Swedes can expect to receive it during Emergency Preparedness Week in May. The Swedish government's decision, according to Andersson, was a result of "the current security situation" in the Baltic region in relation to Russia's increased military activity.
None of these actions is particularly unusual or alarming. It is typical of sovereign governments to plan for all ranges of emergencies, including attack by a foreign military. Sure, there’s the Russian annexation of Crimea, Putin’s backing of Ukrainian rebels, and ongoing war gaming in the Baltics. In 2016, officials in Sweden were ordered to ensure that they are ready for a Russian invasion and war.
Now, let’s pause here a moment to consider if Sweden’s principal peril today is Russian invasion? It’s worth noting that not long ago Norwegian officials indicated they saw no impending threat from Russia. And you have to march through Norway—where the USA has garrisoned some 300 Marines—to attack Sweden.

Two years ago Pamela Geller suggested civil war began after news of the stabbing death of a 22 year old female social worker at a refugee center. The police, reportedly, claimed the incident was not terror, but an accident.
Police admitted in 2016 to losing control of some 50-odd “no-go zones.” Law enforcement authorities have stated that thefts, sexual assaults, and gang violence increased with the surge in migrants entering the country.
What is happening is nothing short of a country, a society, and culture in the process of utter collapse. If this was happening in Africa the UN would be screaming for money and aid. But this is not Africa, it is Europe.

Nationwide the number of “no-go zones” is on the rise, and they are getting bigger, taking up more real estate. The police make no secret of having given up investigating most crimes. This is nothing short of a humanitarian crisis. Mölndal is now lost to the Muslim migrants.
After decades of politicians forcing multiculturalism on them some Swedes had had enough. During 2015, roughly, November 1st thru the 25th, eight Muslim refugee centers were torched. Reports say, in 2015 “seventeen Muslim refugee centers had been burned.”
Sweden is swept with violence and calling it the rape capital of the West is not hyperbole. A Gothenburg police officer speaking of record claimed there are 20 robberies per day, most are violent. Other sources report a staggering 7230 rapes for 2017, up 10 percent in one year.
Evidence suggests there is much worse to come. Amid the refugee crisis, perennially underfunded law enforcement could do little against rising Islamic crimes. Some reports suggest as many as 80 percent of the police threaten to quit. Liberal politicians have gutted the military to a small force of some 21,000 active personal.
It is illegal to prepare for self-defense.
Carrying anything that might be used as a weapon is against the law. Police make it very difficult to obtain a license for even a hunting rifle with a 2 shot clip. By definition criminals exempt themselves from the laws of civil society.
The decision by the government to reissue pamphlets has little to do with any Russian invasion. Either some of the quislings who created this crisis are seeing their mistakes. Perhaps ranking military leaders see a growing danger to the rule of law. Their first step then is to psychologically prepare the wider population for what may come: civil war.
Just don’t expect the legacy-media to inform you of a rising cycle of violence in Sweden, or the continent at large.
