Limuru Town is a small town located in the highlands area of Kenya. It is generally a cold place and hence a conducive environment for growing tea. The area is commonly known for its beautiful scenery of large tea plantations as well as being home to a rift valley viewing site. It is located on the Nairobi - Nakuru Highway. There are great hotels within Limuru such as the Brackenhurst Hotel & Conference Centre, Sovereign Suites, Nairobi - Sun Africa Hotels, Thayu Farm Hotel, Jumuia Conference and Country Home, Terracota Hotel, Docklands Hotel, Manga Corner Hotel and restaurant, and ACK St.Julian's Centre.

The town's nightlife is dominated by a high population of students from nearby Universities and colleges as well as tourists residing in the Tigoni area. There are awesome hotels & nightclubs open at night such as The Dam Redhill Resort, Swatch Place, Wida Highway Motel. On any of the above mentioned places, you can get yourself a cold beer and grilled meat. The people in the area are very hospitable, majority of the being Christians, the security is great and the availability of medical services is reliable.

The town is about 27 kilometers from Nairobi City accessible via three well tarmacked roads. It is home to African Writer Ngugi wa Thiong'o. It has a population of about 7000 people with a timezone of GMT+3 Nairobi. Meet other professionals at Limuru Country Club, Tigoni Golf Club, and Sigona Golf Club.
