"Theater on the Tea" in Odessa and impressions of the performance

in #swmchallenge7 years ago (edited)

Odessa is a very creative and extraordinary city. A city of humor, joy and theaters. One of the most unusual Odessa theaters is "Theater on Tea". The theater was founded by the graduates of the Odessa Theater Lyceum in 2010. From the first days, the Odessa and Kiev actors joined the troupe. Today the youngest actors are graduates of the "Theater on Tea" studio.

If you have not been to the "Theater on the Tea", be sure to go. You will be pleasantly surprised! You still have not felt it.

Today, performances are held in the building of the former Palace of Students on the street. Marazlievskaya, 34-a. "Theater on the Tea" is unique to everyone. It's not like we are used to.

Imagine, you go into the hall and the director of the theater meets you with the words: "Go to the stage, please take up vacant places." A? How do you like this number? And indeed, all the spectators during the performance are on the stage, together with the actors. The audience is up to 50 people. The whole action takes place around you. This is a unique experiment, which gives the effect of a full immersion for the time of the play in the world of history, opened to us by the actors. I can say with confidence that this is not a comparable and not transmitted feeling. From the first minutes you live the life of the heroes of the play with them.

This is a completely comfortable and enjoyable dive. A lot of emotions. Very touching, very sincere, so subtle a game that after the performance people come out so real, thoughtful, delighted.

In the theater there is a "tea" tradition. After the performance, you can drink tea with the director and actors in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

I went to the theater at the invitation of my daughter's teacher, Tatyana Leonidovna Bondarenko. She loves going to theaters and getting inspiration, live energy from actors. My acquaintance with the theater studio began with the tragicomedy "The Old Men" based on the play "Iron Class" by Aldo Nikolai.

Director Alexander Onishchenko, he is also the director of the "Theater on the Tea". A few more days I was impressed by the play "The Old Men". Three talented actors, Valeria Zadumkin, Vladislav Kostyka, Denis Faluta were able to transfer 50 spectators to their world for 100 minutes. The performance is watched in one breath and without intermission. We did not even notice how the time ran. A very strong and complex work about the ordinary life of ordinary people. A touching eternal story about the lives of the elderly and children.

Children in cares, jobs, their own, of course, important problems. How to earn? How to teach children? Where to rest? And where at this time to identify children, elderly parents?

"They packed my things in the suitcase in the morning and let the concierge down so that I did not have time to spend the evening." I was not even asked. They decided everything themselves on the family council. They decided that it would be better for me in the house with the nuns. Care is there for me ... And I'm scared there, you know? Next to the old men groan with pain. And one died in the morning.
"Well, did you show them where the crayfish are hibernating when they arrived?"

  • No, I saw them, burst into tears of happiness. I was so afraid they would not come. Many here so bring for a couple of days and forget ...

Employment and the constant race for material goods makes us prudent "biscuits" and egoists. And the old people? They are still glory to God alive, free, open in heart and soul, enjoying good word, attention, simple caramel, soup plate. They do not need much for happiness ... Just be loved. But alas ... Indifference hurts their souls. Life swept ... Childhood, adolescence, first love, war, family, children, work ... So much happened ... and passed. They worked in their time for us, not sparing ourselves. We children are the meaning of their lives. Now life itself becomes their meaning of life.

And each of us sitting in the hall, saw themselves, in 40 years in their place.

Still young at each other, telling funny real and invented stories.

Hiding a bunch of different sores. Because in my heart I'm still quite young. With a lot of memories in my head, with a look directed to the distance ... Startling, from affable words and caring participation. And the eyes in tears of gratitude ... Different fates are shown in the scenes.

Already a week has passed, and sunk in the soul of the story or how it does not let go. Re-awareness of values, the point of reboot into a new quality of life. What is really valuable to me now? What will happen in 40 years? And what about my parents? So far ... I'm calling.

P.S. from the editorial board. Do not forget about your parents! You must remember that a person is not eternal. Try to give them as much attention as possible. You should know that if you do not call them yourself, then they can dial your phone number, but not your parents! .. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about ...
