We got to visit one of the permanent shelters for victims of Typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan) last Tuesday when we did our ministry. Villa Diana is situated in Brgy. 101, New Kawayan, Tacloban City. Most of the shelters provided by the government are in the Northern Barangays (or villages). Supply from the Water District is not yet available in the area so the government provided jetmatic pumps for the community.
One thing that caught my attention was how this bicycle handle bar was used in lieu of the force rod. Well, it works just the same. So resourceful, one thing I admire about Filipinos. They say "Basta Pinoy, tuloy-tuloy."
Awesome! Still exists.
Wooooohh so fun to pump that one i remember my chilhood :)
I lived in Pakistan
Our villagers use this pumps in there houses and work.
It work like piston did
