Sirao The " Little Amsterdam " in Cebu City Philippines

" Mini Amsterdam " is attracting locals and tourists from all over the country.  It is the famous “Sirao Flower Farm” located in a mountain barangay of Lahug Cebu City.

Celosia is the main flower grown in Sirao Flower Farm   Its name was derived from the Ancient Greek word “kḗleos” which means “burning” and it refers to its flame-like flower heads, while going down you can easily see the cute replica of wind mill to complete your Little Amsterdam experience.

The Little Amsterdam of Cebu is 8,000-sq-meter of uphill land privately owned by Sps. Alfredo and Elena Sy-Chua some say that the color of the flowers come in yellow and red colors which are closely associated with the colors of Sto. Nino of Cebu.  Elena loves the Sto. Nino so much that she started to plant celosia flowers on their hillside land.

If you like to take a pleasure trip Little Amsterdam is worth a try on one cool daybreak.  So what are you waiting for visit it now!!
