Hey guys, It's been some time since I made a post about Tai Chi. So here's one about the different forms of this amazing martial art.

Embrace the tiger and return to the mountain

Keep all your weight on your left leg, turn your waist to the right, while spinnnig on the pillow of the right foot. Now spread your hands, swing backwards diagonally with your right foot. There mustn't be any load in your step and and heels spaced for shoulder width. Switch 70% weight to your right foot. When your waist completes the diagonal swing to the right, move your left fist so that the tips of your fingers are aligned with your left shoulder, with your palm facing foward. The right fist is by the waist of the palm facing up.

When you turn your waist a little to the right , join your left fist so that the tips of your fingers  face your right elbow. In the meantime your right fist is moving upwards so that the tips of your fingers are facing the sky.

Keep your weight on the left foot, and step back with your right foot so that you first touch the floor with you toes. Keep your weight on it and turn your waist to the right. Open your fists and lower them to your right hip, still with your wrists connected. While you turn your waist to the right, lift your left leg up, then lower your toes down while you turn your waist, this time to the left. Right fist is moving back to the front moving your waist, tips of your fingers are aligned with your right ear,  the left fist swings down your body and the left leg to rest from the outside of the your left thigh.

Now lift the toes from your left leg, turn your waist sideling left, and pull your toes back down unloaded with weight. Right palm is turned towards the inner part of your left elbow. Left fist should be in the same height as your left shoulder, and your elbow relaxed. Lift the toes of your left leg and swing your hip clockwise , turning towards the cushiony part of your right foot. Your hands are swinging to the right together with your waist movement.

Bend the bow and shoot the tiger

Move your waist to the right. Your hands follow your waist, falling down parallel, and your right foot is laid sideling to the right. When you turn your waist to the right, shift your weight on your right leg and spin your hands towards the right side of your waist. When you turn your waist back to the left, lift your hands and spin them along with your waist movement. With both fists shape your loose fists. Now lift your right fist from the right side of your forehead, with your finger joints turned towards your right eyebrow. Left fist stays aligned with your shoulder height. Keep turning your waist to the left, keeping all your weight on your right leg. Now lift your unladen left foot and make a small step to adjust yourself, and step on the surface with your toes first.

Now keep your weight on your left leg and lift your right foot, and move your toes closer to your left heel. Split open your left fist while your hands are moving in front of your body following the movement of your waist. While you move your waist to the right , with both fists and your right foot at the same time shape a bow towards the center line. Your right foot is on the ground without a load on it aligned with your left foot arch. Now keep spinning your waist lifting your right fist so that it rests on your right hip and shifting all your weight on your right foot. Make a step the size of your shoulder width with your left foot. Now shift 70% of your weight on your left leg, and move your right fist  forward ready to punch, spinning it one quarter of the circle in a curly motion. Left hand is moving down across the front of your body, with your palm facing towards the inner part of your right elbow.
