DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TALENT AND CREATIVITY

People always have this contemplation about TALENT and CREATIVITY

Here is my personal take on this .. You could be creative yet NOT talented although you can be CREATIVE and TALENTED at the same time..

Talent is the ability to technically execute an idea. That can range from the physical mechanics of planning an instrument to the ability to develop a theme in MUSIC, to physical flexibility and form in DANCE or vulnerability and authenticity in ACTING. Talent is the based of fundamental skills that are developed over time which is placed under or supports the ART form and its ability to communicate emotional life to the viewer.

Creativity is misunderstood and a misused concept like love. Just as love doesn't exist in reality outside the object that is being loved, there is no creativity outside of the technical execution of the idea. Creativity is a unique or non standard solution to a problem. That solution requires TALENT (actual ability) in its solving.

Talent is an ability level which may or may not be used creatively. Talent can express itself in very standard ways which brings out emotional responses that are not unique .6F5A1096-6572-4C10-961A-64B61A16B598.jpeg

You don’t have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most important, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given.
