The Four of Swords - Solitude and Rest

in #tarot2 years ago

The four of swords is an interesting card. It's one of those ominous cards that often get misinterpreted as death. In the Pamela Coleman Smith deck, the card appears to be that of a knight's crypt or tomb in a church-like setting. The card generally represents rest and solitude. Depending on the surrounding cards it can also represent convalescence after an illness.

I missed yesterday's pull. Monday we pulled the six of Swords and reversed, today the four upright.

Basic Interpretation

In the upright position, this four can represent a welcome rest after some strife or drama. It's the hermit's repose and contemplation of the events that unfolded. Enjoy the solitude.

You have the answers. Think and rest. Stop worrying and focus on the issue at hand. You've got this, you just don't know it yet.
