You're of course right. The vitriol certainly isn't doing me any favours. Just as his jew-hating posts won't be doing him any, either. I'm just glad I'm nothing like him. He can get the mute button treatment, I think. Leave him to his very own private swamp that he inhabits with his like-minded 'friends'. Wash my hands of him.
But - to justify what I've been doing - he really DID have to be stood up to. Hopefully, he's learnt not to bully people, even those he thinks lack the ability to retaliate.
It is so cool that you are able to find this space of self-safety around someone who inflicts themself. It's such a sneaky way to hurt another person, to just steal their energy by forcing them to feel so crazy and hateful that it actually ends up hurting them.
