Welcome Beautiful Beings
This is another installment of tarot Tuesday with me @phillyc. This is my 'reading' if you will, a general poem about life and potentials which could very well apply to you. There's no predictions here, only possibilities and the potential to open to life in new ways. Let everything unfold as it should, Sat Nam!
This Weeks Spread
Queen of Cups, X Wheel of Fortune, VIII Strength
With the wheel of fortune centrally placed, we can expect to be swept up in feelings of elevation. It's as if fate is shining up on us, and for this brief moment we are the chosen ones. This is a beautiful feeling, to feel as if the things in your life are coming together in a uniquely magical way. In a sense you are the conduit for these incredible experiences, and it's in the allowing that they come through.
Allowance is a key theme here, which is announced beautifully by the Queen of Cups. She is all about allowing, accepting, and creating the space for beauty to occur in. The key term for the queen would be 'receptivity'. It's relevant because being receptive to life means that we see how incredibly beautiful it is in the first place. Secondly it allows us to navigate gracefully, sensing what is appropriate moment to moment. The Queen is a quiet soul and needs much time to simply be. It is the source of her power. Allow this time, and your intuitive gifts will become realigned and renewed. You will once again speak with the trees and dance with the wind.
Time in silence and emptiness is time well spent, it is the action of grace and communion. Spirit flows in when we get out of the way, and cease our continual taking up of space. Incessant thinking and doing are the hallmarks of the monkey mind. Detach from these habits and you will be perceiving things in a new and fresh way which is full of the breath of life.
Balancing the Mind
The Number Eight Trump Card, Strength - is like the icing on the cake here. The quiet power of this card is a beneficial influence, especially with the wheel of fortune tempting us to spin out of control. Going back to the Wheel, that energy is expansive and gregarious - yet it can tend toward disconnection and fantasy. Strength brings the quietude and grace necessary to enjoy this expansion without 'believing' in it so to speak. In believing our own self importance we sow the seeds for our suffering.
Always our power is based in the unknowable spirit that powers this earthly realm. If we forget that, then life is obliged to give us the necessary reminders.
The wheel of fortune leads us to experience beautiful and profound things, catching a glimpse of our wider purpose and place in life. With such great expansion the ego can often become involved, turning these insights into stories about our personal importance. The queen on the left nullifies this tendency by remaining in the receptive state, she allows the experience to flow through yet doesn't grasp it and attempt to recreate it. Strength has a similar power, we can see the lion as our baser tendencies which can be calmly handled by the pure consciousness part of us.
The base tendencies could be any number of things, on the physical level it is continual pleasure seeking and addictive behavior. On the mental level it is a need to be right, and clinging to our opinions, we can only be right through making someone else wrong. The process of being humbled lacks that feisty righteousness, yet it recedes into a delicious grace. The act of being right will be ultimately unsatisfactory, leading us to continually reassert ourselves and creating conflict. Know this as the true nature of the mind, and then handle it with care.
Always you are the master, the navigator who can choose to not believe so many wild stories about what is right and wrong. Always you have the option to quietly ackowledge the world without grasping and making it a point of personal involvement. Through this is equanimity, regardless of where our fates lie on the 'wheel of fortune'.
Much Love my fellow beings.

we can only be right if we make someone else wrong
this is a serious epidemic in a competitive matrix. This can relate to the Judgement card as we have a tendency to judge others for things we do not like about ourselves. Projecting those bad behaviors ( gas lighting). I am super sensitive to caddy and judgemental energies.. I like to think of my clown friends in their clown courtroom... super over sized mallet and a sign hanging from his podium that read "Judge Mental". if ever I fall to Judge Mental thoughts.. I giggle, come back to center, and ask myself, am I that behavior? When we become the observer of this behavior, the Wheel of Fortune is released?
Yes! I think taking it lightly is a key to unraveling such self seriousness 😛
