Happy Tarot Tuesday & welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings! This one is for the week of May 7 2019. If this is the first time you've dropped by one of my Tarot Tuesday posts, it goes something like this -
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three! After you've decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Oh, and don't be worried if you don't happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I also would like to mention...
Time to get started! Here's a photo of the backs of the cards - and yes, for the record, I take a new one each week. Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you're ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Next, to ensure you don't accidentally see the card faces before you've made your choice, I'm using a picture as a kind of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since we're now in the month of May, I thought I'd use a graphic I created back in May 2017 as part of my Witch Quote Challenge. Essentially, the challenge was to create quotos by paring my photographs with quotes given to me by my readers. The handsome fellow (at least I think he's a boy) in this shot is wild crow I've named Angel. It seemed especially appropriate to use since my dear friend Beth (also known as The Smart Witch) pointed out to me that she'd noticed it making the rounds on social media again - most notably on the The Celtic Witch Facebook page. I love it when people share my graphics, so thank you very much, Celtic Witch!
Now it's time for the big reveal. Here's the photo of the front of the cards...
...and my interpretations/message for each one is...
1. Strength
Believe in yourself. People have told you time and time again that you couldn't do it alone, because you weren't (strong, smart, tough) enough. Nonsense! As Glinda said to Dorothy, "You don't need to be helped any longer. You've always had the power to go back to Kansas." Okay, maybe a visit to Auntie Em and Uncle Henry's farm isn't on your wish list, but you have the courage and compassion to tame the beast of self-doubt.
Tarot Tidbit: The Strength card was last seen, in the second position, on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2018.
2. Page of Cups
The Look of Love. I think of this as the Romeo card – time to fall in love, either with a person, a story idea, a creative project, or something of that sort. You may also be receiving a message of love from someone – maybe not as overt as flowers and chocolate, but something to show they care. It could be as simple as a bringing you a fresh cup of coffee, or sharing a Facebook meme, that shows they are thinking of you. Artistically, it's that moment of sudden inspiration, when you see your project in a new light, or a bizarre-yet-brilliant idea presents itself - go with it.
Tarot Tidbit: The last time we saw the Page of Cups was all the way back in August 2018, on the 21st in the third position, and during that weekly reading the Strength card also made an appearance in the second position.
3. King of Wands
Take Charge Time. You have the intelligence, you have the determination. Now point that wand in the direction you want to go, and don’t even think about wavering from your path until you get to your destination. See that itty bitty little salamander in the bottom right corner of the card? Think of it as a baby dragon (since salamanders are associated with fire), who just needs encouragement and direction. Soon it will be a fiercesome force to be reckoned with, and you will be as formidable as the Mother of Dragons.
Tarot Tidbit: The King of Wands was last seen, in the second position, at the beginning of this year on January 8 2019.
I hope you enjoyed your message for this week, and brightest of blessings to you!

Thank you
every time I will encounter things like this that will decide the upcoming days for your life I always make a stop.
Maybe it was because I am a dreamer, I tend to always hope things for my future. So whenever I encounter fortune telling I always give time and make a wish that my future would be bright.
Thanks for this, starting this moment I would be a supporter of your posts and will stop by to read what the tarot cards would say about my future.

Lovely, picked 2 perfect for my week, thanks Traci, as usual, wonderful interpretations!
Thanks Traci, you are one of the most prolific bloggers and social media adepts that I have encountered. It must be your full time lifestyle. Humans are by nature "compulsive communicators" I heard once as a kid.
I chose the Strength card, a major arcana, showing me that I am able to harness my animal passions to achieve great feats of strength, mentally, physically and spiritually. The feminine power of knowledge is able to control the untamed mind and senses.
Congratulations @traciyork! You have completed the following achievement on the Steem blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :

I had no idea you were doing this! I really liked how you put the photo up there. It definitely helped to not see the results. There is something encouraging about the Page of Cups. Maybe it's that I envision him bringing me a cup of coffee and is ready to listen and pay attention to what I have to say. It's been one of my favorites for a while.
Thanks for the reading! See you next Tuesday!

Thanks. My fourth or fifth time enjoying this weekly post. Can't win em all and today isn't one of those days.
I'm always torn when it comes to picking just one card...this time, my eyes slid right off of number 3. They just didn't want to pick that one at all! It was kind of strange. I went with 2, but I feel as though the un-selection of 3 was equally significant.
coming late - but never too late :)
