Welcome to Tarot Tuesday! I started posting these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They're by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today's reading is for the week of January 28th 2020.
The method of doing these readings is not my original idea - I was inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them, here's a quick breakdown on how this works...
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like! When you've decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don't be worried if you don't happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention...

Here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself - whatever you need to do to focus. When you're ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Now, to make sure you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm adding a graphic here as a sort of a spacer/spoiler prevention. Since Imbolc is approaching on February 2nd (and Lammas on the same day in the Southern Hemisphere), I decided to update and change out these three infographics I created for a post a few years ago.
Imbolc (Northern Hemisphere)

Lammas (Southern Hemisphere)

Lammas Painted Bread Spell

Finally, it's time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards...
...and the messages for each card are...
1. The Fool
Take that step! You have the chance to start down a new road, full of possibilities. Don't second guess yourself - trust where this path is taking you, and make that leap! While you've been worrying that you're not ready, and you still have to gather your things, just look - you're already carrying everything you need with you. One word of caution - make sure you watch where you're going. If you get caught up in the excitement, and start daydreaming while staring at the clouds, you may find yourself stepping off a cliff. Simply pay attention to your surroundings, put one foot in front of the other, and your journey will be magical.
Tarot Tidbit: The Fool was last spotted, in the third postion, last summer on July 9th, 2019.
2. The Hierophant
The Mystic. When you're in the middle of a crisis, and you feel like you're all alone, this card is a reminder that all of your ancestors, your community, your family (blood or chosen) are still there with you, even if you can't see or feel them. I like to think of this as the Mr. Miyagi card - someone who steps in and teaches you the knowledge you need to stop the bullies. Sometimes though, this card shows up for me when I get a little too wrapped up in the "right" and traditional way of doing something. It means I need to remember to honor the spirit of the ritual, and not sweat the details.
Tarot Tidbit: The Hierophant was last seen, also in the second position, this past fall on October 8th, 2019.
3. Five of Wands
Little fish meets big pond. You have that thing that you’re really good at, but lately you feel like you’re just one of many people who are good at it too. You’re afraid you don’t stand out from the competition. The bad news is, you’re right. The good news is, all you need to do is to get out there and battle for your spot. Once you’ve joined the fight for supremacy, you’ll get a sense of what you can do to make yourself stand out from all the others. Remind yourself, "in a world of Muggles, be Hermione". Staying on the sidelines and bemoaning the fact that no one pays attention to you won’t get you the attention you want or deserve. Fight for it!
Tarot Tidbit: The Five of Wands hasn't been seen in almost exactly a year! The last time it was in the second position, back on February 5th, 2019.

I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of January 28th 2020! Bright blessings to you!

I have been meaning to say this for a while: for remembering your southern hemisphere acolytes. And, actually, it's really good to be thinking about the abundance of harvest right now.
Be well!

#3 Be Hermione! I love it and will try to remember.
Oh I love the idea of doing runes on baked bread. Im going to leave this post open so I can remember to look up the recipe you are sharing. I want to try it out.
I believe I chose the same card, #2, in October. It is always a great reminder and it is quite important to honor our ancestors as well for their wisdom they share with us.
I just wrote a TT post and posted it about a minute ago. It is nice to be back in it once more. There is a deep message that is needing to be said for all of us in that one.
Much love and respect to you! Thank you for dedication and work towards these awesome posts ^_^ xxx
