For hubbys birthday we are with us 6 and going to MOOD. We decided its to short of a time before the ski holiday that we would just celebrate with Our lovely family.
MOOD is the fairly New concept by mrs. Eveline Wu. She is wellknown for her asian and french cooking. This is her with Dutchie Herman de Blijker former owner of the restaurant, and television celeb. She has more restaurants in the Netherlands.
This is the KPN building On Our way riding into Rotterdam.
In Restaurant Mood Rotterdam you can order oysters, fruits de mer, bouillabaisse, sushi, sashimi, meat, salads voor veggies and poultry. All this preceded by Nice cocktails, gin and tonic or a delicious alcohol Free cocktail or accompanied with fine wines and closed at the end of the evening with the most diverse cheeses or a grand dessert. In Restaurant Mood Rotterdam they celebrate your party every night at your table . The team both serving out and the kitchen brigade and the ambience of the robust building will ensure an unforgettable night.
The restaurant formerly known as LAS PALMAS is a well known place on THE KOP of South Rotterdam. They cook exclusively with the purest and fresh seasonal products. For fish the thing you want. The Restaurant Mood is very beautiful decorated. All products used are from the different seasons. Both fresh teiled or specialty flown in.
Wishes are asked at the table, tailored to your taste or diet and taking into account all the beautiful things the season has to offer. You can determine the number of dishes yourself.
We choose different things because the little boys didnt need a 5 dish menu.

After a cup off wonderfull coffee we reviewed the evening.
OVERALL REVIEW
We had a reservation at 8 oclock , we arrived some what earlier, and were greeted in the lounge. We had a scoppinno and the kids a non acoholic cocktail. After that we got a table near the kitchen on the bench in the wider part off the restaurant. We could See everything that was Made in the kitchen and the other guests in the restaurant. Our two ladies waitresses were very Nice, correct and very sweet for the boys. They were honest in telling us that the courses were Kinda big. We were aloud to order and than order again, with kids its difficult to know if the size is enough to still the hunger.
The sushi was the best I ever had, and the meat as a meancourse was so soft you could do without chewing.
Prices are cheap taking the high quality and diversity into consideration.
Wine and beverages,
Wine list was very large and the wines in the list high end, I was the designated driver so I needed a cocktail without alcohol and they Made a great ginger one. I loved it. The boys had sodas.
We we t by car and you can park the car at Hotel
New York, paid but Thats normal in the weekend in Rotterdam.
We would recommend MOOD When you are in Rotterdam, we give MOOD a 9 just like the tripadvisor review. And Will certainly go there again soon.

Looks amazing, I wanted to get sushi on our tour last year but it was just to pricey for my rands hahahha, maybe this year the tour will do better and we can get some sushi!!!
