Visegrad is the name of the smallest city in Hungary. It has received the title of a city, due to its popularity among tourists, mostly due to the amazing castle on the top of the hill, also known to have been the home of Vlad the Impaler for some years, also known as Dracula.
Lots of tourists come to Visegrad daily, and all of them need a place to eat. That is why there are quite a lot of expensive restaurants in Visegrad, and not many cheap places to dine. So, where can you still find a quite cheap place to eat your dinner in Visegrad? The answer is Don Vito.
Don Vito is an Italian restaurant in Visegrad
We are used to the fact that the Italian restaurants are often cheaper than the others. Here we can buy pizzas and other spaghetti foods, cheaper to produce, and easier to make. And that is why Don Vito is the perfect place for those who want a cheap meal in Visegrad.
I have been to Don Vito myself to eat. It is a family friendly restaurant, even though a childrens corner would have been a nice addition. The prices are average, and the quality is just fine. It isn't a place I would travel to Visegrad to visit, but if you first go to Visegrad and want a cheap and Italian meal, this is the perfect place to go!
They also have children menus available, making it easy to dine for the entire family, and the restaurant is located in the heart of Visegrad, something that also comes as a nice plus!
If you first visit the city, make sure to visit the castle on the hill, maybe enjoy the bob track available on the hill, and walk around in the beautiful forests, and maybe enjoy a boat ride to the other side of the Danube as well!
