Hello friends, today I would like to share about Indonesian special takeaway, it consists of varieties of kue basah (cake), pastries and bread. The place where we could buy these special items is Mon Ami. It is famous here, and they have many outlets. The one that we went to this morning was located in 191th Melawai Raya Street, South Jakarta. The outlet was not big, but there are always customers inside.
How the outlet looked like

Cantik Manis (in English it would means pretty sweet)
They also sold Chocolate Eclair
After several times of picking what we wanted to buy, then we bought them.
What we bought were:
Mine was in the right box, mom's on the left. We bought Cantik Manis, Smoked Beef Risoles, 2 arem-arem, a fruit soes, a cheese and sausage bread, a cheese bluder.
A bit explanation from me about what we bought,
Cantik Manis is a kind of Indonesian authentic sweet cakes. It made from coconut milk and also the pacar cina (kind of small jelly with colors). The texture was soft and the flavor was sweet and really bit savory.
Smoked beef risoles is smoked beef with mayonaise sauce and wraped with the risoles sheet. It is fried and the flavor is usually savory and a bit sweet from the mayonaise.
Arem-arem is a special Indonesian authentic rice cake, with the meat inside and also cabe (chilli). The flavor is savory, a bit sweet and also spicy.
Fruit soes is the fruit and also soes cake with it’s vla sauce on it’s top and also with some fruits also on its’ top. The taste is sweet, fresh and better served chill.
The cheese and sausage bread’s flavor is usually savory, while the cheese bluder usually has savory and a bit sweet from the bluder. Bluder is bread with the softer texture inside.
We usually like to buy Indonesian sweets, pastries and all here, the flavor was delicious and the service was also good.

Those are really authentic Indonesian food. I've never seen anything like that before. I would sure love to have a bite of that.
