Hello steemians! Hello HK!
Today I will introduce a restaurant which have high price–performance ratio!!
Kum's Noodle Kitchen is loacted at Cheung Sha Wan and hide at the secret corner in the restidential area!
We actually attracted by the colourful menu which placed in front of the restaurant!
The price is reasonable and look so yummy :D
It is the great decision to give a try for this restaurant!
The interior decoration and even menu is normal but colourful!
We arrived at around 7pm and the restaurant was almost full!
Since that was our first visit the Kum's Kitchen, the staff is patient and introduced which is the signature menu, how to order like a set, homemade herbal tea etc.
Also, they are also proud to tell us about the making process of their popular pork cartilage!
We ordered pork cartilage ramen in pork bone broth.
The pork cartilage is soft after slow-cooked for at least 12hrs. The taste is good and not too strong.
The soup based is good and the texture of ramen is perfect as well!!
Fried pork chop in kind of Shanghai style?!
This pork chop fried without apply the layer of bread crumbs. Surprisingly it is not too oily!!!!
The soft texture and nice taste raise our appetite.
Then it is vermicelli in satay soup! The taste is strong but you wont feel thirsty after finish the noodles~ They did not use MSG...hahah :D
p.s...I almost finished the whole bowl of soup...it is really delicious!!!!
My favourite dish for the meal.....deep fried chicken with cheese paste!!
It is cheddar cheese paste...which means attractive colour and flavour!
The fried chicken is juicy and it is a great match to have cheddar cheese dip sauce other than mayonnaise!
At the end of our meal, the staff recommend their homemade spicy preserved radish in Sichuan style!
It is really hot even I've only tried for few bites......but I love it lol
Homemade herbal tea and honey yuzu tea....herbal tea prepared by the staff everyday and change style everyday!
Honey yuzu tea is quite sweet and I need to add some water to lighten the sweetness!
The whole meal cost around USD 13... It is hard to find a restaurant with average price but high quality!!
CHEERS!!!!
