A week ago I was lucky enough to be at Niagara by the lake. It is a few hours away from downtown Toronto where I currently reside.
It was a perfect day with all the energy and beauty of the magnificent waterfalls has to offer down to the fresh salad served on our plate.
For the information of those who have not heard of Niagara it generates hydroelectric energy for Canada while selling a part of it to its neighbor country ,the United States. This is in addition to the flock of tourist especially during summer season.
From my point of view, it's generated a lot jobs with its outdoor activities as well as the establishment thar comes with it.
So yes it's natural to expect a lot of hotels and dining experiences one can try.
We went inside one of its Casino to get a closer view of the grandeous waterfalls. And even tooK a picture if it's lock bridge similar to that one in Europe.
So after having a long walk to see the Canadian side of this geographical landmark we find ourselves famished so where do we go? No else than the Table Rock House which offers a spectacular view of the location while feasting on a gourmet food by a chef whose wife hails from Philippines my home country
Sure there are other alternative experience but I am pleased we dine hereI instead as the service was professional and fast. The ambiance was remarkable and the salad was very delicious. And need I say I was proud that the chef mentions her wife from my country. Cheesy I know but I must admit it's pricey selection should account for something right.
So I am sure you're curious how it's looks from within so I took some shots.
From above pictures you'd see the restaurant from its facade then from within. At a glance it gives you an idea that one has to wait on queue to get seated. But surely it's worth the time just be ready though with your wallet as it can be pricey
If you're on a shoestring budget you can ask for service water and additional salad seasoning free of charge just in case you'd be interested.
But then again considering the standards of service they bind themselves into its worth every penny.
Their free high speed Wi-Fi makes it more fun to dine here. Just look at the souvenir photos I took and tell me if it wasn't worthy of your hard earned money. It's one of few places where you'd really chew your food slowly to experience the texture of the food as it brush on your palate, the aroma of a dish exquisite done and served to seduce your senses and an ambiance you'd thank the Gods for.
It was am we say a perfect day. So if you can do visit Niagara and off course dine here as well. The establishment is easy to recall as its named after the natural landmark one can view from its window. It's cozy and elegant that it makes a good venue for a romantic date.
