This was a throwback where my architecture gang went on for a graduation trip to Sabah for the KK mountain hike. While we are on that, our next mission is to explore the delicious food around Sabah, especially those food that are authentic and only be found in Sabah itself.
It was the first day when we reached KK when @cklai as the host came to welcomed us and fetched us from the airport. The first thing hitting down on KK town is to find some decent breakfast spot while we wait for another batch of flight to come.
@cklai brought us around and finally we settled down with this light breakfast spot where we can order nice local coffee and also different kind of local made bakery. One of their famous stuff is this pineapple bun which to me is definitely delicious.
The texture, the taste and sweetness is just nice! Love it and would definitely come back for it during my next Sabah trip.
The food may not be that affordable and some of the food is just like KL rate. This is what happened to KK and it is mind blogging. However, on one side of it, Sabahan do have great spending power to be honest, if not the price will not sta y that high.
Very traditional feel being in the kopitiam of Sabah capital town. Love the ambiance around here, super friendly.
