We had a fabulous evening at the Chanh, hidden away on the 6th floor, but well worthwhile finding. We were greeted with a warm welcome which continued all evening, nothing was too much trouble. All the meals were cocked to perfection and there are great views. The puddings were good too.
This is the second time I have eaten here. Once 2 years again and again last. Great to see it is still around, but after going again last night can understand. The staff are amazing, the food was delicious and the view was breath. Would highly recommend this place to anybody, definitely wouldn’t be disappointed. Hopefully if I have the chance to come back to Ho Chi Minh again will definitely be on the top of my list to visit again.
I overall liked this restaurant. We found it because my partner and I wanted a nice restaurant for our last night in ho chi minh that catered to vegetarians. Our mains were lovely and they had a nice range of options for us. Service was excellent. Only dissapointment was our dessert. I ordered the chocolate fondant cake- which was the most expensive item on the dessert menu. When it arrived I almost laughed. It was the tiniest thing I had ever seen. Now i didn't expect a huge dessert or anything- but it was so tiny that the one scoop of icecream that came with it was bigger than the entire fondant. It tasted nice but was really dissapointing on the portion especially when paying 125000 vd for it!
