I love millionaires’ shortbread (aka caramel shortbread). I could easily eat it every day, but I have to exercise some self-control. Having a bakery like that nearby would make it very tempting.

Millionaires’ shortbread is great but very bad for my acid reflux problems. Therefore I can only eat it early in the day or I get no sleep.
Is there no such bakery in your village?
There's not a proper bakery here. We have a few shops, but some are a bit of a walk and I'm not home much when they are open.
When you have that happen to you try eating a bowl of mixed veggies with lots of butter.
I have the exact opposite problem if I eat bread early it does that to me. I can always have a bowl of mixed veggies with lots of butter and it calms that gut right down. Has never failed once.
Interesting idea, I would have thought butter would antagonise the problem though with it being quite fatty. I have to take Ranitidine regularly to suppress the acid.
Works awesome takes the reflux completely away. Organic green beans corn peas and carrots and 100% grassfed cow butter.
