She wanted to get a tattoo to remember her time spent in Hawaii where she met her husband. She decided on some tropical flowers to remind her of this beautiful place. This was a really fun experience. If you can't tell by now I really enjoy tattooing flower designs. Every flower is unique and I enjoy using color theory to make the flowers pop. The most obvious use of color theory here is the purple back shadowing. This purple lends to the oranges in the flowers and makes the oranges appear bolder and brighter while pushing them forward to the viewers eye. I have a deep love for all living things so I really enjoy doing artworks of nature in general.
