Creating smaller designs is a fundamental tool in the tattoo industry. It can help you expand your clientelle base to those who are on a budget or looking to just do something random
I mean in retrospect when many people walk in or do something on a whim they are usually not walking around with $400 for a medium to large piece.
This is where getting creative and making patterns and designs for the majority clients who come in on a whim comes in handy.
I call the them 200 Max clients.
Not to mistaken your actual shop minimum. Which mine is $65.
But these 200 Max Clients are your usual walk-ins. They most likely haven't been to the shop before. "just looking around. "
This is where having flash ready design that are $200 or less can catch the eye of a potential client for life. So get creative and show your stuff with smaller designs that will grab their attention and help you make some extra spending cash between doing your exceptionally larger pieces that cost a pretty penny.
Being able to expand your price range reasonably to allow others in a different income bracet makes you walk in friendly and can help you be profitable.
