Are We All Slaves?

Theft is the action of taking another person's, rightly-obtained, resources without their consent.  I believe theft is wrong, as do the vast majority of humans.  Yet, very few of us seem to associate taxation with theft; why is this?

We understand that theft is not defined by what is done with the stolen resources. The argument of "what about the  school, roads, and bridges" is invalid.  We understand that we cannot delegate a right that we don't have personally; that is to say, if you understand that you do not have the right to steal your neighbors resources, you cannot logically delegate that right to another person or entity.  The government has obtained supernatural rights, that are somehow legitimate in the eyes of the people, which no individual can posses alone.

We have been indoctrinated in into a quasi-religious cult called statism. Statism is the most dangerous religion humanity has created; history shows this to be blatantly true.  Morality and freedom go hand-in-hand in all human civilizations through history.
Moral Objectivity can be understood using logic and reason, there's no need for dogma and religion.
