As writers, my wife and I, participate in many events, gatherings, book fairs;Of those that we almost always return with memories and books.The fact that I want to share with all of you today, happened to us a year ago when we were invited to the Book Fair in the city of Bayamo (Cuba) we had traveled all the shelves to hunt the titles of our interest and in one of the sites for children's literature, we find "The Daily Amazement", a wonderful storybook written by Idiel García Romero.It was the last copy for sale.
We buy it without hesitation and return to take our place in the presentations program, when a child, from the threshold of his house, asks us if we are the ones who sell books at the fair;We told him yes and he, with a sweet sadness tells us that he will not be able to buy any book because his mom has not yet charged.The sky made us a burning fist in our chest and we could not resist.We thought of our children who always wait for us dreaming confitures, toys or books and that on many occasions they have to settle for our kisses and hugs.
Without thinking it, my wife and I, we took the "The Daily Amazement" and put it in the best hands in the world.
Then couple months later, Idiel has come to our house and put his book himself in the hands of our children.A gift that we wont ever forget.

Como escritores, mi esposa y yo, participamos en muchos eventos, tertulias, ferias de libros; de los que casi siempre regresamos cargados de recuerdos y libros. El hecho que hoy quiero compartirles, nos sucedió un año atrás cuando fuimos invitados a la Feria del libro en la ciudad de Bayamo (cuba) habíamos recorrido todos los estantes para cazar los títulos de nuestro interés y en uno de los sitios para la literatura infantil, encontramos “ El Diario Asombro”, un maravilloso
libro de cuentos escrito por Idiel García Romero. Era el último ejemplar en venta.
Lo compramos sin dudar y regresamos a ocupar nuestro lugar en el programa de las presentaciones, cuando un niño, desde el umbral de su casa, nos pregunta si somos los que vendemos libros en la feria; le dijimos que si y él, con una dulce tristeza nos cuenta que no podrá comprar ningún libro porque su mami no ha cobrado aún. El cielo se nos hizo un puño ardiente en el pecho y no pudimos resistirnos. Pensamos en nuestros hijos que nos esperan siempre soñando confituras, juguetes o libros y que en muchas ocasiones se tienen que conformar con nuestros besos y abrazos. Sin siquiera discutirlo, mi esposa y yo, tomamos el " El Diario Asombro" y lo pusimos en las mejores manos del mundo.
Luego Idiel ha venido a nuestra casa y ha puesto él mismo su libro en las manos de nuestros hijos. Un regalo que nunca olvidaremos.
