Sheri Kaiserman
Wall Street Bitcoin poineer and co-founder of Maco.la
It was that foresight, paired with an excitement for the radical new world of decentralization and disintermediation promised by blockchain technology, that has made Sheri one of the most influential figures in this space, and we’re very happy to be welcoming her as the latest addition to the KeyoCoin team.
Having spent a decade at Oppenheimer, Sheri then built and ran the equities division of Wedbush Securities for 16 years, which, under her guidance, published the first Wall Street analysis of the value of Bitcoin in 2013. Wedbush went on to become one of the traditional financial service industry’s earliest investors in the nascent technology, and one of its greatest beneficiaries.
After 26 years in public equities, 18 of which for Wedbush, Sheri made the move in early 2018 to co-found Maco.la, an investment fund and advisory firm that is actively supporting blockchain startups to realize their full potential.
Her vision and success has not gone unnoticed. In 2016, she won the Women in Finance ‘Achievement in Innovation Award’ at the Markets Choice Awards, and has been a guest on shows such as CNBC’s ‘Squawk on the Street’.
Sheri has been an influential voice and staunch advocate for the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology, and will provide a wealth of experience to the KeyoCoin team.
