QLINK. The missing link in data sharing that we have always needed! We have Uber, we have Airbnb. But what about data? Qlink solves that problem. Have you ever had the problem where you need data but don’t want to pay ridiculous premiums? Qlink solves this problem! Decentralised internet/wifi in my personal opinion is the way of the future. Currently we can see how a lot of our internet/metadata is subject to scrutiny and privacy invasion - not cool!
It is worth noting that Qlink is set up on the NEO blockchain. For those that know of NEO, it has the ability to handle a greater number of transactions per second (tps) when compared to Ethereum and combined with Trinity Protocol can scale to 1,000,000 tps. No that is not a typo.

HOW DOES QLINK WORK
Basically it involves registering your WiFi or VPN assets at this current stage to the Qlink network. This way you are able to have your ‘asset’ share its data/WiFi with users who are able to ‘rent’ your data and reimburse you with ‘QLC’ this is the token which forms the means of currency/transactions on the platform. The app is currently available on ‘Google Playstore’. The iOS version is in the works apple fans! It will be rolled out soon.
As previously mentioned Qlink is in close alliance with NEO and NEO/GAS tokens can be exchanged for Qlink tokens within the platform. So to clarify QLC is a utility token as you are using it for the purposes of ‘utility’ to access WiFi. The owner who shares the wifi can be ‘tipped’ for being registered as a Qlink asset. Do not forget the advantages and benefits of smart contracts and the wonderful works of blockchain technology. Also Binance has a partnership with QLink. Yes! The biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world is partnered with Qlink. This allows Qlink to leverage on Binance’s BNB tokens and allow for a symbiotic relationship where both parties can harmoniously grow.

MY PERSONAL STORY
Personally, on a holiday in Japan last year I had an issue with data/WiFi where I lost my pocket WiFi. For anyone that has never been to Japan, you are unable to get a sim card (without proof of evidence that you are looking to stay there for at least 6 months). Airbnb hosts provide pocket WiFi's for tourists to ensure they have data 'on the go'. In a foreign country with limited ability to speak internet data is essential.
Having lost the pocket wifi I had to resort to free WiFi hubs. Anyone who has used these knows the difficulties of signing up to networks and limited coverage. If a resource such as 'Qlink' was made available I would have gladly paid to use it. Qlink is solving a real world problem and I can not stress that this is crucial to cryptocurrencies as many have no real vision and I would label are simply ‘cash grabs’.
ME GUSTA! HOW DO I GET STARTED?
• Download the Qlink dApp (WinQ) on the Google Play Store (Apple iOS is due out in a few months - please bear with us)
• Set up your wallet with a password (remember your password! Write it on a piece of paper)
• You will be taken to a window showing you your private key and public key. If you do not know what this means I suggest you watch this video:
• Now you are set up to register your Wifi asset
• This will require some QLC tokens – Either use the public address provided and send NEO/BNB/GAS tokens to exchange them for QLC
• You are all set up and ready to go! There is a fixed fee of QLC tokens to register your asset (mainnet will launch at the end of this month)

THINGS TO BE AWARE OF?
• Using QLINK does not make you immune to viruses. It is the same as using local wifi in a café etc.
• Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and always be aware of what you are investing in and the risks
• While development of the project progresses there is no guarantee the price of the tokens will increase. It is all based on expected future value. When this is realised at these early stages is anyone’s guess.
