RE: 10 Ideas How The Edge Can Help A Steemian Start A Business and Promote The Steem Spirit

That is a great facility. Thanks for sharing it. We have a similar one here in Kansas near where my son goes to college. He uses it extensively. Mostly to make custom built guitars, but also to do some 3d printing. The guitars he makes there now with all the equipment look great compared to the first couple he made in my garage with my old hand tools.

Hi @gregory-f ,

Is this the place your son goes to: https://hammerspacehobby.com/ in Kansas City!

If he can make a post about it, i will definately give 100% upvote support and re-steem!

I hope you will consider resteeming this post so more people especially Steemians outside of the US and Australia will someday push their local leaders and businesses to support these tech workshop and innovation projects.

Young people, who are the future of tomorow will need to innovate more than ever before, learning linear skills is no longer enough, one of the first lessons I learn here in Steemit is that the best lessons I will learn will be after (or perhaps outside) college

Thanks again for the great feedback!

Peace ✌ & 💖 love!

Here is the place he goes to, https://712innovations.wildapricot.org/. It's located in Topeka, KS where he goes to college. I mentioned to him that he should check out your post and maybe do a comparable one for 712 Innovations. Thanks for taking an interest in his work.

Hi @gregory-f,

What a great example of what young people can create with the right innovation support.

I checked out @mark.feuerborn posts, looked up his latest replies & upvoted and I have to say.....you son is very talented!

I love that sounds that guitar makes, have 2...but I don't play it well, I'm more a singer, if my zits ever clears up like in 1000 years time, I might make a recording....haha :D

Thanks again for the feedback and also it's great to see Kansas already has this. In my research, I read the big cities like SF, NY, Chicago, SD, Washington(Oregon), but half are sponsored privately. It's great to see this, still more centralized government should support this, we need to move towards innovation and creative based products and service (and possibly gig economy), and not rely on repetition labor, robots and ai are coming for boring jobs....time to get ready for this new era!
