This story reminds me of the time I was riding motorcycle through a hail shower. I was covered in leather and my helmet, but could still feel the stones through the leather. After passing the cloud, I saw another cyclist heading INTO the cloud from the opposite direction. This was on a highway doing 90 Km/hr, so the force of impact is great. This other guy was a Harley dude with SHORT SLEEVES and bare skin, wearing one of those little beanie cap helmets! I can imagine how much he would have hurt when he got into that hail!
So glad to hear the damage was not too bad on your cars. I saw pictures of a car with huge dents from hail all over it. What a mess that was!
Woa, that sounds like a really terrifying experience! I’m glad you survived that experience unscathed. I feel for that other dude. Sounds like it would have really hurt and very dangerous.
Actually after second examination, the dents on the car are actually quite severe, so we will be claiming insurance for it and getting repairs.
Btw, have you seen the specialist yet? Hope all is well.
Awe, I'm sorry to hear about the damage. A repair job is never the same as the original factory finish.
I would expect the Harley dude would have stopped riding and waited for the cloud to pass. Without a full-face helmet, his face would be mighty sore along with his arms. It was really weird to have hail, because just a half hour earlier I was swimming in a lake in the Summer time! We were up a bit in the mountains, so perhaps at higher altitude there was a cold stream or something.
Yes, I saw the specialist today and it is cancer. He says it should be easy to remove without cutting any of the kidney. I don't really look forward to having surgery and will see if I can shrink the tumor with alternative medicine. It seems there is no real rush at this point.
O i’m so sorry to hear that. It’s good that it can be removed and treated. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. All the best my friend and stay positive.
