I too am a small town kind of guy. My mom lives in Chicago and you couldn't pay me to live there (how much $ are we talking? lol) I also love living near the sea. I live about 30 minutes from the the beaches, so I can go any day really. Nova Scotia looks beautiful. I would be proud to live there too! Great post GA!
