13 days ago, I donated 12SBD and promised to donate the total payouts of This post where I asked for suggestions of charity and humanitarian projects worth donating SBD's to.
The post's payouts were worth 10.71 SBD so I donated 11 SBD to @YouAreHope three days ago.
I will also donate this post's total payouts next week, so upvoting and resteeming would be appreciated.
The whole idea started when I wanted to celebrate my first 100SP and 500 followers. I didn't know it will be a continuous weekly-ish donation. I thought it was one donation for celebration, end of the story.
What kept me going was the kind encouragement of my friends, some of them told me it was inspiring, some of them were older than me in steemit and didn't donate before, but they got reminded of how easy it is to donate through steemit.
What I'm trying to do here is not just donating, I'm trying to promote the charity and humanitarian projects that I know, to make it even easier to find them and support them.
You don't have to donate half your wallet, sometimes less than one SBD counts.
There are places in the world where, even with the low actual price of STEEM and SBD, 1SBD is a daily income of a marrried man responsible of a whole family.
Do not hesitate. Sometimes with one click, one donation, that won't affect you much, you can change someone's life.

We have started a support group for families who need help with protecting themselves against CPS/Social Services and other government agencies who are so quick to split families up and place the children in foster care/care homes all in the name of 'Child Protection'.

My school now have around 60 underprivileged children who are sponsored by steemians and so the value of steem and SBD directly affect our fund.
We do close of month long fundraising in 14th day of each month. Tell to date we have raised $146.513 SBD and 6.322 STEEM .
I arrange monthly mothers meeting at school to discuss child education and different social issues which can affect children.
I arrange weekly fruits program at school for the kids. Steemit allows me to continue it. @lindahas continue blogging about the children every Friday and support the kids by donating all the fund raised by herself.
The monthly hot meal arrangement program is newly added program at school. We are so happy that our raised fund allowing us to continue to support the cause.

Our goal is to save as many dogs as we can from the high kill climate of Deep Appalachia, and to fight for their right to live free of pain, sickness, fear, hunger, thirst, and cruelty. We focus on transport over adoption and have rescue partners in New England states who, together with our tireless volunteers on the ground in Virginia, work to save hundreds of dogs every year. We place a strong emphasis on spay and neuter and believe it is the solution not only to pet overpopulation, but the disregard for life that goes along with it. We’re striving to provide low-cost spay/neuter options for our community in hopes of reducing stray populations and municipal shelter intake.

Hey there! I I wish you the best of life. Having shared not just money but the commitment to help others is something bigger than humanity. You're building a bridge to a better world, to a healthier society.
I wouldn't ask for your money, I only mean to ask for your help into maybe finding a group or community who could help me work better in my region. I live in an extremely arid climate, and we have trees but are dying and drying out because of the lack of commitment from the entire country. I'm not speaking just for my neighborhood, it's the entire venezuelan territory being slaughtered and left to dry. Some of its diversity still remains, but the population is having a massive emigration rate, mostly young people and parents who leave their children to go work in other countries, so they can send a little financial help to all of the family, not just the children. I can confirm what you say on your post because the minimal wage here is something in between 3 to 4 $ a month. People can't afford to live well, and this isn't just a government dictatorship, there's also a cultural problem within the population, who just don't want to build the foundations towards a new era, or generation, neither to pass the torch to us emptying out their desks.
My project is being only run by me. I have been propagating plants and diversity of flora through a 10 years course. I, as of right now have more than 10.000 plants and I'm ready to start transplanting and talking/involving communities around my region and whenever else you feel like making this happen, to help heal the world's nature: by managing larger ammounts of plants we can build up to hundreds of tons of oxygen, which is a rare investment but it pays off way better than you could ever imagine. I sell a lot of plants, give them to schools and share my intentions through talks and presentations. I am doing a great work and I will continue to do so. I'm simply asking for guidance, help me come up with a better strategy and support that I know can be improved. Every company must have a vision, a self growing plan. Thank you for reading this, and I hope that you can help me, to at least meet some people around. Im thinking about posting here a couple of my links together so anyone can have a briefing about my current situation. Kudos to you for showing us a path on being truly important! Thank you.
