Do you know the best feeling when I have is every time I know my traveling period is near and that time will come by so fast because I will be busy clearing office pending work and juggling to list down what to pack and and not to over packed. End up packing will be at the last minute and every time before the flight time, your eyes will be WIDE-AWAKE .Its either you are too excited about it or dare not to sleep because you are afraid that you might over slept .Anyone has that same experience ?
Today I would like to share about my trip to Tokyo.This trip is way back in 2016, my very first Japan trip on a budget travel . I travel with a friend .My bucket list.
Day 1
I arrived very late at night at Tokyo and by the time I reach my Guest House it was like 2am because we had to look go round and round looking for the Guest House but I gave and decide to get a taxi . ( Note : For a budget traveller like me , if it’s possible never try to take taxis as they are super expensive ! ) We self-check-in our self because the stayed was pre-paid online via Agoda.com. They gave us the pass code for us to enter the building.

Day 2
Waking up after a long flight with not enough sleep was awful but yes we woke up as early as 5am to catch our train to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. We had to travel to a town called Fujikwaguchiko,Japan.So we had to travel from Akihabara Station to Shinjuku Station and made a transfer to Otsuki station.
Otsuki Station is A Local train which takes about 2 hours to arrive Fujikawaguchiko (opt for a cheaper route while enjoying the view)

Finally when I reach my destination checked in to Sawa Hotel , Fujikawaguchiko
View from my room . When it reach night time , this is a very quiet neighbour . Ahh , don’t worry Japan is really a safe place to be in .
After our short rest and bath , we just decided to eat in because we are too exhausted being on the road , train and walking . All there goes my visit to Family Mart.
Family is a Japanese convenience store franchise chain. Something like 7-11 in Malaysia its just they have super super good food variety , drinks , hot food/drinks.

And my super simple yet delicious dinner .Family mart allows us to sit there and eat . They will even offer to reheat the food during payment .

I got myself a PASMO card . PASMO is a convenient prepaid transportation card that contains an integrated-circuit (IC) chip, allowing the user to enter the subway by simply placing the card over a PASMO card reader located on the fare gates. The card is rechargeable and can be used over and over. It can also be used for other railway and bus operators nationwide where interoperability is offered.Im using PASMO to make payment for food , trains , shoppings as long as there’s sufficient money inside .
Day 3
As usual there’s always buses and trains to catch , miss one train no worries there’s always another one but it’s just that I couldn’t afford to miss a bus because I have a long list of place to visit . The glimpse of Mount Fuji is yet to be seen . Such a hard conquest .

This ticket enable the whole journey of Kawaguchiko to Lake Saiko You can stop at every stops for photos and hop back on to the bus to next destination . Valid for 2 days but we only have time for 1 day at Kawaguchiko.
Due to time limitation we only stops at certain stops ,

Last Stop where the view of Mount Fuji Should be
This is the place where we are suppose to view the Magnificent Mount Fuji 🗻 but due to weather , He’s no where to be seen .
It was such a Disappointing moment as we have taken such a long tiring journey to see Mount Fuji and He decide not to appear . So we decided to cheer ourself up with ice cream on a cold day .
A view was supposed to be Mount Fuji replaced by a delicious view of Lavender Ice Cream .
Lastly , souvenir hunting before I hop on the bus to leave for next station .

And so we left Fujikawaguchiko Town and headed to next Gotemba Station to visit Gotemba Premium Outlet Station . After a really long afternoon, this is the best part . Food time .

After food , we took a bus to Gotemba Premium Outlet for some shopping and guess who decide to show up Fuji-San !!

I guess that conclude my conquest for a glimpse Mount Fuji .Majestic yet Magnificient . Will be heading to Hakone next .. stay tune to Land of the Rising Sun - Part 2
