Happy Friday The 13th ( T G I F )
After spending a few days away from Kuala Lumpur having an awesome time meeting the Steemians from Borneo. I'm back and just catching up on things once more.
During my time in Borneo , there was so much things discussed & planned with @danieldoughty, @djlethalskillz & @veenang . There was a lot of discussions and plans on how better we should help the community there to strengthen the support. We were also discussing and finalizing on our exciting event coming up in September called SteemXP ! . More details on it soon as we want to make sure that we get it to be one of the best event ever before announcing it. Sorry for the blur photo ... but i can 100% blame it on the phone =D
So last week , I spoke to both @zord189 & @branlee87 about having some exciting stuff happening on TeamMalaysia DISCORD . We came out with a very interesting project which I do hope everyone on our TeamMalaysia discord would be able to participate. ( soon the rest of the work =D )
The Problem
As a steemian we take hours just to make an awesome post however most of the time, we do not get the visibility from steemians as there are just too many post or there is not enough engagement therefore other steemians would have seen your post.
The Solution
We've come up with 2 ways to get more visibility for your posts for now.
Since a few days ago we started to highlight 3 exceptional post a day with the tags teammalaysia . All posts which are featured would receive a little tip once the payout is received after 7 days. Thanks to the great work of @deborism and @aaronleang for this.
We are going to start TEH TARIK SUNDAY
What is TEH TARIK SUNDAY !
For those who are in the TeamMalaysia discord, you would already see the new channel called tehtarik sunday . Why tehtarik ? Because its what we Malaysians do when we talk or discuss something or just hangout with friends
Here is what is going to happen on Sunday Nights
- Everyone is invited to join the channel on Sundays at 10:00 pm
- Everyone is given a chance to promote A POST .You do not need to be the author as you can promote your friend's post or a very interesting post for everyone to see.
How can I participate ?
The main moderators for this project would be our awesome podcaster @branlee87 & his accomplice would be @zord189 .
Do checkout updates from @zord189 / @branlee87 where they would be announcing more details soon on this exciting new activity for teammalaysia
Summary
I do hope that everyone who is part of the community is able to take the opportunity and participate in this new activity to promote your valuable post as I'm sure it would be both beneficial for not only you , but also other steemians .

We apologize on the double posts. We have removed the earlier comment. As you know I am on auto answering mode, hence we arr listening to the API socket. When you amend your post, to me, it is the post being "submitted", I will not know if the post has been curated before and hence the double posts of comment.
